See You At The Pole

Ps 24:3-6
3 Who may ascend the hill of the LORD?
Who may stand in his holy place?
4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
who does not lift up his soul to an idol
or swear by what is false.
5 He will receive blessing from the LORD
and vindication from God his Savior.
6 Such is the generation of those who seek him,
who seek your face, O God of Jacob.

Today is See You At The Pole. It is a time when the students, teachers and those from our community and across the nation gather at the school flag pole to worship and pray.

We had a young man do a Scripture reading and then a short devotion based on that Scripture. What a great way to start our time of worship.

Then it was time to praise God in song. A couple of our little guys really got into the worship music

"Seek" an  active and intentional looking for something specific. That is what we were encourage to do with Christ Jesus. To seek Him and to let Him become the Lord of our life.

We did our prayer time different this year. I really liked it. We broke up into smaller groups and prayed in those groups. In our group I had some Pre-K'ers, some kindergartners, a few 2nd graders, and two 6th graders. My Pre-K'ers, a kindergartner, 2nd grader and myself prayed in our group.
One more devotion on how great God is and how He can supply more that we could even imagine. And how great His love is for us. And then a closing prayer.
What a great morning here in Felt.
